Sorry no pics on this one. I tried, but it’s hard to get a good pic of a spice rub. This recipe makes more than you should need for the average pork butt/should/ whatever it’s called in your neck of the woods. So put whatever is left in a good air tight container and it should last for a while.

Pork BBQ Rub

4 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons garlic powder

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon celery seeds

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

2 teaspoons cumin seed

1 teaspoon ground mustard

1 teaspoon coriander seed

1 teaspoon allspice

  1. Put the celery seeds, oregano, thyme, cumin seed, coriander seed and allspice in a spice grinder and grind into a powder. (do in batches if needed, you want a pretty fine powder)

  2. Combine with the rest of the ingredients.

  1. add 1 tablespoon of date or coconut sugar (I don't think it needs it though)

  1. Stored in an airtight container this should last 6 months or more
